What you pay the laundry

Whatever the partner charges a walk-in customer, in local currency, for the weight they record at pickup. Kwashly’s 12% commission is paid by the partner out of that price, not added to it. Charging Kwashly travellers more than local customers is grounds for delisting, and we test it with mystery drop-offs.

Typical ranges in the network today: Bali from $0.90/kg, Bangkok from $1.40/kg, Mexico City from $1.10/kg, Lisbon from €2.80/kg, Barcelona from €3.10/kg, Berlin from €3.40/kg. Hotel laundry, where it is published, usually lands between €6 and €12 per kilo — which is the entire reason this product exists.

Frequently asked, specifically about money

Does Plus pay for itself?

On a single trip where you would otherwise buy a second checked bag, yes — the average avoided baggage fee in our data is €61 per return trip. If you travel twice a year or less, stay on Free.

What happens to wallet credit if I cancel Plus?

Credit already earned stays in the wallet and remains spendable for 24 months from the date it was earned. You keep earning at the Free rate of 2%.

Do you take a cut of hotel laundry?

No. Hotel laundry prices are shown for comparison only and we earn nothing when you use them. We do earn an affiliate fee if you book the stay itself through a link in the planner, which is disclosed in the Terms of Service.

Is there a plan for hostels and tour operators?

Teams covers most of it. For fifty seats or more, or for a white-label laundry desk in your property, write to [email protected] and see the Partner Terms.
